Still: since I did not sleep much in the night, due to coughing and sneezing, I slept in. No Yoga, no gashana, no regular times. But I did a lot of meditating. And when I ate at all, I ate healthy. So I lost 3 kilos in as many days. That was quite a bit too fast for me. I got one back now.. But I do not want back more. I will keep up eating healthy and drinking a lot and I will work on getting back into a regular schedule. Starting tomorrow night, by going to bed early. It will work out, I am sure. Actually, I already found, that it is much easier, to keep to a regular eating schedule.
I am a Kappha Dosha and as such, I'd only need a small breakfast, if any. So, it does not hurt to skip it. In the evening, one should eat nothing or only a little. Since I did not eat before about 3 or even 4 pm, I am not hungry in the evenings. And I am such a lazy bum, that I don't even take the trouble to get food, when I feel a grumbling. It is easier to heat some water and drink something hot, sometimes with a little honey in it.
Sometimes, being lazy can actually help to diet. :-) Though it is not a regular and healthy way. One of my crutches is, to not buy sweet stuff, unless I think I really, really need it. And since I tend more to fatty and salty, I seldom do. Or only about once a month. That was different, only a little over a year ago, but I had time to watch myself and found, that boredom is another factor to buy sweets. So I just do interesting things, do not get bored and therefore have no need for sweets.
I also choose more carefully. I do like liquorice and winegums and Yell-O (Wackelpudding) and they do not have so extremely many calories. I am lucky enough to not being a choc-aholic.
Once my health is properly restored, I will go back to the studio and do some sport there. Most of the things I do can be done even with the hand bandaged, so that should not be much of a problem. Unless they don't let me for insurance reasons. But I think, if I just go on the treadmill, they won't have much of a problem. I can always hope. Right now, it would be to early, unless my speed was below snail. And that is rather boring. Especially for an hour. But the coughing would stop me sooner than later. So, not studio next week either, but if it ain't too cold, I could do some walking with the girls.
So, bored along enough and sick of searching the letters on the left side of the keyboard and going back to correct typos...
Have a happy weekend. And if - like me - you are living in a peaceful and economically stabile country, with no weather hazards: Be thankful for it and enjoy yourself!!
