It is snowing - help others keep warm!

or rather: it has been snowing last night and so everything is mostly white again. I love it. Though I do quite see, that not everybody does.
If you drive a train or bus or fly a plane or helicoptre or work on a ship or anything close to that or just similar: it might not be all that wonderful.

Far worse: if you don't have a home and cannot get a place in a shelter, this snow is rather hell, than heaven. So if someone approaches you today for cash and you have it: give or give something hot to drink, if you don't give money on principle. A hot or at least warm drink is maybe even better.
If you have a pair of gloves to many or a blanket, that is still warm, but that you are not so very fond of any more: give them away.
That is, what I intend to do. I'll carry at least my spare gloves and a scarf around. It is not much. But it might help a bit. Whatever helps is better, than doing nothing.

For myself: I am certainly a child of luxury. And I do not mean that in money. Although I do have quite enough money for myself to spend.
What I mean is: I have a roof over my head. By far enough food (and fat on my body). I have enough clothes, and warmth, a loving family and all the friends I need in the world.
Also I can read and speak at least two languages fluently. O.k., one is german and I should be able to be fluent in that. You would be surprised, how many people did not have the advantage of learning their own mother-tongue fluently or at least remotely correct, in spite of hearing nothing but that language. Amazing. Reminds me of Professor Higgins. The english sentence is: "Why can't the english teach their children how to speak?" In german it is similar: Kann denn die Kinder keiner lehren, wie man spricht?"
My problem is more, to set a comma correctly. There are very clear rules in the german language, but somehow I never grasped them. Another luxury: I get buy anyhow, because the grammar is correct and the rest as well.

At any rate: if we all just give away one hot drink, sum of money or something else that migh help to warm up, that is not much, but it is a help and so: let us all get started. We can all find something to give away.
